The city of Vitória da Conquista, in Bahia, is about to receive an important improvement in its infrastructure. With the start of asphalt paving on Leôncio Santos Street, which crosses the Teopompo de Almeida Exhibition Park, residents and visitors to the area can expect a significant improvement in traffic as well as accessibility.
Extending approximately 400 meters, between Tertuliano Sales Street and Vila Emurc, this initiative is currently in the phase of topographic measurements and earthworks. And the forecast is that the work will be completed by the end of this week.
The execution is the responsibility of the company Rockefeller Ambiental, and the benefits will be remarkable for a wide range of people. In addition to providing greater comfort to the pedestrians who frequent the Exhibition Park, this project will also offer an alternative route for the residents of the Candeias neighborhood and the Recreio neighborhood.
This revitalization will also facilitate access for those coming from Vivaldo Mendes Street, in addition to opening a new connection to Luiz Eduardo Street. Moreover, it will improve accessibility to the Exhibition Park itself, which hosts important events such as the Winter Festival and the Tôa Tôa Festival.
In summary, this project not only promises to improve urban mobility but will also significantly contribute to the development and quality of life of the residents of Vitória da Conquista. It is also worth noting that this is the first asphalt network project by Rockefeller Ambiental in the municipality, and several other projects are already agreed upon for execution.
