Rockefeller Ambiental, in partnership with the Municipal Department of Infrastructure and Civil Defense of Ilhéus, carried out another "Pothole Repair" operation this week, this time in the neighborhoods of Teotônio Vilela and Morada do Porto. The initiative aims to ensure greater mobility and safety for the entire population, as well as to improve the points and roads that showed wear and irregularities.
Among the ongoing works, we have pothole repairs, resurfacing, and paving of sections, thus preventing the risk of accidents and damage to residents. In addition, the work included proper soil preparation, ensuring greater durability of the service.
The operation is part of a plan of actions for the maintenance of the roads in Ilhéus. In partnership, the City Hall and Rockefeller Ambiental continue to advance in the improvement schedule. Other sections have already been identified and improved, while others will receive services in the coming weeks, with a focus on making the streets safer and the daily lives of the population more peaceful.
Benefits for the population
With the services completed, residents can expect greater fluidity in the neighborhood and more safety for those walking or cycling. The initiative also reinforces the appreciation of the neighborhoods served, improving not only circulation but also quality of life.
