The city of Vila Velha/ES has just taken an important step toward the modernization of urban services with the implementation of the Operations Control Center (CCCO). The real-time monitoring system, developed and operated by Rockefeller Ambiental, is already in full operation and promises to enhance efficiency and transparency in the management of urban cleaning public services.
The new structure allows for real-time monitoring of all vehicle operations and field teams. Thru tracking and data analysis technologies, the CCCO allows detailed control of activities such as mechanized sweeping, waste collection, street washing, and urban maintenance.
"With the CCCO, we are able to monitor each route, check productivity in real-time, ensure greater agility in any operational adjustments, and respond more quickly to the demands of the population," explains one of the technical coordinators at Rockefeller Ambiental.
In addition to improving internal control of the operation, the system also strengthens transparency and accountability with the municipal public authorities, who can monitor reports and performance indicators with much greater clarity.
The expectation is that the initiative will help optimize resources, reduce operational failures, and offer an increasingly efficient service to the residents of Vila Velha.
Modernization as an Ally of Sustainability
Technology also proves to be a great ally of sustainability. With real-time control, it is possible to avoid rework, reduce fuel consumption, and better plan routes, minimizing the environmental impact of operations.
